The University of Newcastle has launched a campaign calling for a fundamental change in the way society thinks about the ageing population, based on many scientific advances that have shed new light on the ageing process.
The aim is to challenge the negative perceptions society has about older people; a major component of this is asking the public, organisations and politicians to pledge their support by signing the Charter for Changing Age. Information about the Campaign and the Charter can be found below:
